Well I had a good weekend! I was offered (and bought) a collection of Enfield bayonets.
12 spikes and 1 x 1907.
There are a few oddities; that maybe you guy's can help me with. With regard to collectability and value etc. Mostly No4Mk2 spikes (but some differences between them); 1x cruciform; 2 xNo9's; 1x 1907 Sanderson dated 10/17.
Here's a photo of the lot as they came out of the bag.

Are some in the wrong scabbard? Also most of the short frog's are 1942 or 43 dated, others no legible date. Some have longer type frog's of various types . One of the no9 has a 1945 frog for example.
I will post more individual pic's of the markings and a list of what I can see on them.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

Cruciforms are rare as so few were made.

nice grab , the cruciform spike [if its a singer- they were the only mfgr of these - there are fakes out there ] will be marked as SMC or N67 and is the mkI , the far left scabbard is an american made victory plastics but i cannot tell the version without seeing the back , there were two , one more common , one less found [im still looking] both very desireable to have , rest are mostly first version scabbards save the second left is a third version plastic tube if i am seeing correctly and that middle second version metal tube [nice] it looks to have the late welded version spike in it but i could be seeing badly , you seem to have done very well ,

mostly look to be mkII & mkII* spikes - you can tell if there is a shoulder where the spike was attached on the mkII* , the mkII is a smooth transition from socket to spike ,

we need to see the blades on the no9s as they came in the traditional no5 type bowie drop point and the american type spear point , would be nice to have both , frogs all look good but as noted a wide spectrum of dates ,

your pattern 1907 is a nice example of WWI production sanderson made a lot so its not rare , but what i would want as a representative example for my rifle ,

all of these should be marked with the version mkII or mkII* or mkIII and a code - i have a list of the codes in my library , they are a letter [N-northern , M-middle , S-southern] and a number , these identify who made them ,

OK here are a few photos (more to come) The victory scabbard has the Savage spike.

The cruciform is Singer made.

I found a great source for identifyiing some of the makers.

http://worldbayonets.com/Bayonet_Identification_Guide/Britian__No__4_Spike_Bayonet_/britain_spikes_2.html

I have 2 Prince Smith and Stell's made spikes; one marked PSK and the other PS&S Ltd
Also one Baird Engineering Belfast.

The metal tube scabbard is apparently rare. Only 25,000 made (according to the site mentioned above)

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

Here's the No9's as requested.

And here's one that appears to have a "C broad arrow" electro penciled onto the blade
I think it's possibly Longbranch made as has a captal L but also seem's mixed in with a a serial number. There is also a crossed out serial number on the reverse side.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

yes , thats the same victory plastic scabbard that i have , the more common one , but these are not all that common - yours is in excellent condition , the savage mkII is also superb ,

your singer cruciform looks super as well , these are the oldest as they were discontinued rather quickly as too costly to mfgr with the extra machining involved , yes the metal tube is a great find , wish mine looked that good , you did well ,

your no9s are the traditional drop point match to the no5 and no7 blades i prefer these but still want one of the spear points one day to round out my accumulation , they are the later versions , your no5 scabbards are in superb condition as well , very nice to have ,

i suspect the last - the mkII* is indeed a longbranch and that mark makes it canadian used in service so its a great find as well , and i have always felt the plastic tube was a bit underappreciated , congrats on a great haul ,
