he!!o All -

I am new to the forum and joined in the hopes that someone with advanced Webley revolver knowledge might provide some information about or possibly be interested in purchasing a most interesting pistol case which I acquired last year.  It accompanied a 1900 DWM Bulgarian contract Luger, and a Spanish New Model Luger manual produced in the 1906-1913 time frame was also included in the sale.  The case is all leather and has an interior label identifying it as originating from the Juan Canedo gun shop in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  The Webley revolver reference on the label to P. Webley & Son seems to date this label to 1897 or before as I understand the company name changed to The Webley & Scott Revolver and Arms Co Ltd of Birmingham.

The case measures 12-1/4" x 7-3/4" x 2-1/2" and has cloth-covered partitions as shown.  I believe the partitions may have been modified slightly to accommodate the Luger.  The interior has some scuffed areas as the cloth is a bit thin or missing in spots, but the exterior of the case is in excellent condition for being possibly 120+ years old.  None of the stitching is broken or missing.  A key is not available but could perhaps be obtained from someone knowledgeable of these locks.

I apologize if the images appear at an odd position in this post, I am not accustomed to the image editor.

If you can provide any information or insight it would be most appreciated, and if you are interested in purchasing the case please feel free to contact me with an offer.
