hi all. Does anybody have any suggestions on somewhere to lay my hands on one of these for a reasonable price? I have started to load my own and with re-using brass now I would like to keep one with me in the range box just in case.

Valmont firearms have them in the UK. Not too expensive and definitely worthwhile.
I would also say that if you are starting to load your own; keep an eye on the cases and inspect them after cleaning. If you start to see a ring appear around the case about 1/4" in from the rim; it's the stretch mark. I suggest cut one in half lengthways to inspect; then you will get to know what to look for and how thin the metal is prior to rupture. This way you can chuck them out before they pop.
Depending on the case make and the rifle chamber size, the number of reloads per case can vary a lot and you will get to know what works for your rifle. I keep seperate lots of cases labelled with how many times they are fired and inspect each case before loading. Keep a check on case length as well and trim accordingly.

But of course you may already know all this!Wink
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

The shipping cost from this side of the pond might be an issue but this supplier has them:
