Wow, sorry but that's pretty ordinary, the buttplate and those scope mounts....can't say I've seen anything like that before ....don't get me wrong, I love my smellies ( ....wouldn't be on this forum if I didn't ) but that's just not my style......to each their own.
I have an Enfield in 257, I re-cut the 303-25 to 257 Roberts rimmed, 7x57R cases, its stripped out for a re-stock at the moment but some of you may remember it..... Roger |

I watched that auction. Nothing there for me. Maybe a donor for a few untouched parts. Its a project for the next owner to tinker with for sure!

Sorry, the only surplus bits are the top wood and the snobble, the fore-end was used on another rifle.
