Guessing here but probably somewhere like Fulton's of Bisley in the U.K. the conversions weren't common (or popular) in the U.S.

Fulton's have a very nice L42A1 with full kit for sale at the moment, for 9850 pounds sterling!!
that's the highest I've seen; and the travel chest looks like a new replica to me; not a scratch on it!!
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

Hi guys.
I'm in the market for a Enfield 308 magazine and a sniper cheekpiece. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm from Cape Town South Africa......so please keep the exchange rate in mind.
Thanks a million

Try DS Solutions militaria for the cheekpiece; they MIGHT have the magazine as well, although I think there may be a waiting list for them.

Valmont Firearms in the UK sell the cheek piece with screws. They have a web site.

K Mag ( www.k-mag.co.za ) in Newcastle KZN make new No1 Mk3 and No4 Mk1 mags in both 5 and 10 round versions.
Helber (www.helber.co.za ) have BEARTOOTH Comb Raising Kits in stock. I'm actually buying one for my 7x57 as I need to lift my head a fraction as the stock is from old 1906 Portuguese military Mauser and has no raised comb. The scope is mounted high as I haven't had the bolt handle shaped.

Thought you were selling your rifle on guntree?

The "proper" No 4 7.62 magazines (the ones by Enfield or Sterling) are not always easy to find, and can be expensive.

A viable alternative is to use a magazine for the Ishapore 2A 7.62 rifle.
Reproduction versions of these are available from Numrich at a reasonable price.

I have used all three types in my No 4 7.62's; would rate the Enfield as the best, Ishapore second, and the Sterling last.
