and it never ends these days , i found a nice vintage browning buckmark , gotta research it a bit to date it , but it fits in well with the nomad , challenger and SA-22 ,

and then there is the marlin 39 i just picked up , still need to research this one too but think its 50s , it goes well with the '59 39A i already had and the palomino i found ,

i need a bigger cabinet ,

I have a modest collection of .22 rifles. A Stevens model#85 with tubular magazine, a Cooey and a Savage Mark2 modern rifle. Tons of fun to shoot!I could very easily start collecting old model .22's though, much as yourself. The allure is there. Ammo is plentiful these days.

.22's are fun and I admit I love the old single shots I have. I once traded a brand new Winchester .270 rifle for a Yugoslavian SKS and a Winchester single shot .22. Still have the .22. Always a place for .22's for any serious shooter.

the marlin turns out to be a 1952 , older than my other , this one has the pistol grip stock , my other has the straight stock , only reason i bought it really , i do like it , its in exceptional condition for being my younger brothers age - him not so much
