last week , ive been passively looking for a S&W Victory 22cal at gunshows the last couple years , stumbled on this in a local gun store i just dropped into on a whim - they had just gotten them back in stock that morning so i just grabbed it for my chriustmas stocking ,

that is their new competition for a browning buckmark [which i bought a few years back] or the ruger marks [i have a couple mkIIs and a mkI ] or the other target pistols out there [i have colts , high standards , other brownings , sigs , berrettas and i like them all],

it is a stainless piece that has heft and balance , came with a couple mags , has nice night sights , came with a rail for optics but i doubt ill use it as my buckmark has that covered , been using it for steel plate , might try this open sights for that one day though ,

NOW - ive shifted my attention to the birthday gift - it comes a week later , think i want an uberti color case steel frame 1873 rifle with 24" octagonal barrel ,i have been thinking on one for my cowboy shooting for a while now , it would be part of my backup set to start , but my son has expressed an interest in trying it out with me , that set may well be his first line set ,

think ill have my gunsmith order one up for me this week ,

i sure hope so - i just ordered a fobus holster for it , i read where the one for the ruger mkII can be adjusted to use with this easily , it should work with my rugers too , i have one for the buckmark already , and a double mag pouch [that should work for this and the buckmark as well as my ruger 22s i think] heck that will work for any 22mag i think ,

Looks like a great pic A square.  I was not familiar with it, so looked it up.  Found a nice review.
For the pikes must be together at the rising of the moon.
