i see nothing new ,

i picked up a sig p938 im looking to try , a really compact carry that is easy to conceal , i like my sigs and this seems a really nice small piece , came with a nice carbon fiber holster and extra mag , about the size of my colt 380 government but slightly more compact , feels good in the hand , need to shoot it to see if the wife can handle it before i tell her about it , i bought her a nice EMP but this is smaller , might actually be better for her if recoil is not to harsh , both 9mm so i got lots of ammo to shoot it with whichever she decides on ,

i also picked up an extra browning buckmark that i think my friend aaron will be wanting - he has been craving a decent 22 pistol to shoot with me [i collect the 33s these days ] i have to decide if im willing to part with it first , i really dont need two , he prefers the colt woodsman but those are priced so high as to make them a little out of comfort zone these days ,

im still waiting on the henry/winchester model 1866 i ordered about 4 months ago , i had hoped to be shooting that brass framed uberti replica example at the cowboy shoot im going to next weekend in wisconsin , but i guess ill be picking from the 1860 henry/1873 winchester/1896 winchester for this one , ive been shooting the last forever and it has always served well , i was looking for that brass bling i think and i can have it with the 1860 but i gotta remember the hand hop of the follower ,

oh well ,  ill have fun no matter , i do have a new pair of ruger vaqueros to eliminate my revolver problems from the last shoot , and my coach gun has been repaired , LIFE IS GOOD ,

Dare I mention the summer doldrums? Life is indeed GOOD! Have fun my friend! I just finished a #4 project and I went the accessories route but still staying with the main factory theme. Used a still in the wrap LB fore end which recently came from Australia (one of two mummy wrapped pieces), LB hand guards (grooved rear) and LB butt. Every other metal part has either a LB stamp or a C with broad arrow stamp. Even the brass oiler is LB stamped. Once I get some photo time I'll post it up. I really love those brass lever action rifles, so much class, so much history....

I didn't know LB had their own stamped oilers.
Then again, it would make sense.
I've never seen one, tho.

After looking at the oiler again, it is marked with the C/broad arrow, not LB.

Fill it with a single malt mixed with cosmoline instead? Hey wait a minute! Ooh that'll get some negative responses methinks.
