When I first started reloading years ago, it was on the 303. I thought I'd hit the mother load!!! 1000 brass for $10!!! After breaking several de-primer pins, I finally figured out they were Berdan primers. I discarded those. The gun shop had run out of pins, courtesy of me, so I used some SS TIG welding rod. Still have it in the die!!

I reload Berdan primed .577 Snider and .577-.450 Martini cases using the RCBS decapping tool. Works good, but I wouldn’t want to do it in the volume I shoot .303. I hate to throw out any good brass, even Berdan.

The problem now is that it’s not easy to find Berdan primers.

& in the real British size impossible!
It can be done, is it worth doing?
Well, that's a different question.

you need to visit this site and do some reseach if your serious about this - its a lot of [rewarding] work and takes a lot of effort to find everything you need to know , but it can be done , in multiple ways depending on the direction you wish to go ,
