Those of you who have a L39A1/L42A1, Envoy, Enforcer DCRA conversion might not have this issue,or maybe you do to some degree. After the conversion to 7.62mm was done and the CR 141A 65 Enfield magazine was installed and checked for fit on my rifle,I found the ejection not to my taste. I even put the correct 7.62 extractor claw on the bolt head. I learned a neat little fix to that issue today. This does not,in anyway, affect the structural strength of the bolt and bolt head. However a strip 3.760 in length needs to be filed down to 0.180 in width on the back of the bolt and head. About .004 of material removed. To make this happen you need line up the bolt head with the ejection tab on the magazine and with the bolt when it is the up position, mark it with a sharpie and start filing away. When done, sand with 220 grit and then polish. The extractor claw will keep the she!! casing pushed out about .003 past the flat once it is away from the chamber striking the ejection tab smartly, popping the case out without so much as a hiccup.
So. That's what I did today...

I’ve been struggling with this problem. The 7.62 magazines I have do not have this ejection tab. I also don’t have the 7.62 extractor claw. I did try grinding some material off the inner edge of the .303 extractor so that under the extractor spring force, it will push the case further to the left. It’s works fairly well, but not reliable enough for the rapid fire stage in match shooting.

I bought the magazines about 15 years ago, and they were new and no manufacturers marks on them.

Are you still using the ejector screw in the receiver ?

The Spartans do not ask how many the enemies are but where they are

It's still there. But it is useless now.
