i have found among my reloading stuff a small quantity [ 30] nice brass cases ready to reload , i sold/gifted  both my british 410s many years ago - the traditional and the american chamber are gone to good homes ,

if someone is interested ill part with these for postage - i could reload and shoot them for cowboy but somehow that seems blasphemous = besides ive got a stash of US 410 to shoot up before i die , these are not needed for that ,

pm me if you want them ,

I know these are already gone, but I am curious!
I have never seen an Enfield .410 case.
I have seen threads on converting 303 British brass to "all brass" 410 cases which seems close to blasphemy to me!
I have standard 410 hulls in 2 1/2" and 3".
I have Magtech 2 1/2" all brass hulls.
I have started to convert 9.3x74R Hornady brass into 3" all brass hulls. I have even loaded and fired one of them with #4 shot.

How does an Enfield 410 hull compare and what does it look like? Can someone post a photo of the hull and the head stamp?

Here you go. These are .410 ball rounds, used by India for prison riot control, the shot have no ball but a flat disc at the case mouth. The charger of MkVII ball is for comparison. Regular .410 she!!s won't fit (intentionally). Its a bit like the "Greener" system, if the prisoners got the rifles they couldn't find the special ammunition.

THe headstamp on there reads:
"POF". . "61". . . "410". . . "IZ".

there were conversions of the brit 410 to US 410 , i had one of each but these were done as aftermarket for sales , fun to shoot but not all that effective beyond prison ranges ,
