It has been a while since I have been here, and I am having trouble with removing a trigger pin from my lee #4. No matter what I try, I cannot get the pin out that holds the trigger to the guard. Any suggestions that I can try would be greatly appreciated, and if I damage the pin getting it out, would a roll pin work as a substitute? ( I posted this on the wrong topic area earlier, hope someone here can help me)

The pin is just a tight fit. A properly sized pin punch and a big hammer is needed. Drive it from the left side of the rifle to the right.
A roll pin would work, maybe, after a fashion, the trigger is very sensitive to its relative position to the sear. The roll pin might have an effect on the two stage pull off, maybe not. Only way to find out is to try it. The original style pins are not hard to find.

If you need a new roll pin PM me, I have a few spares I can part with. As englishman_ca mentioned, that pin can be tapped out with the proper sized metal punch. Sometimes some corrosion gets in there making the job a little tougher.

Canuck, thanks for the offer. I will try to get the pin out today, and let you know if I need one or not.

Yes, I bought a pin pusher from midway, that is normal used for AR pins, and it came out with no problem. Thanks all for the support.
