I was going to suggest a good dose of Trailboss combined with a 140-150 grain cast gc'd bullet. I remember reading that 16.5 gr is the MAX and you should start around 70% of that (12 gr). Biggest thing is to not compress the Trail Boss and you should be good.

A lot of culling needs to be done in that country and not necessarily limited to impala.

What exactly are you up to? Sub-sonic bullets are usually pretty low energy, they would do little more than wound an impala. Not exactly a hallmark of ethical hunting practices. Why doesn't your friend contact the proper game authorities to deal with the impalas? Have you checked with the game authorities and been given the go ahead to deal with the animals?

What kind of bullets do you intend to use?

Has anyone done any sub sonic loading on the 303 british??
I was asked by a friend to cull a few impalas on his farm but it will 
require a silencer and i need to load my ammo sub sonic,,,has anyone done this before?
