In .308 it should be an Ishapore 2A.

For a solid mount you want one of my Picatinny rails.
$85.00 shipped and in stock.

Current version is a little shorter but long enough to fit a modern scope.
At over $3.00 a gallon for gas, I want it leaded, 100 octane, and my windshield washed!

looks a nice gibbs conversion , im not much up on these but they had/have a good reputation for the sporters they are ,

you should be able to mount a scope - not gonna hurt it

I think the 2 that are compatible are drill & tap?
Can you/do you want to go that route?

It was originally a No1 MkIII * I believe, so the No1 mount would be the one you need.

he!!o all.
I am new to the forum, and this is my first post.
I recently have acquired a 1967 Gibbs Jungle Carbine in a trade.
It is chambered in 308.
I took it out to shoot, and it is a wonderful rifle.

My eyes are not as they used to be, and I would love to mount a scope to it.
I have seen the ATI mounts, but they say for Mk1, 2, and 5.

What is my Enfield considered?
Are there better scope mounts then the ATI one?

Info and links would be great.

Here are pictures of my beauty.
