I have a SK that is on a no 1.[you need to relieve small amounts of wood to make it fit]seems tight and solid. it came with a extra wedge for the 7.62, which is slightly different under the loading gate...Dane...

I'm not sure of the manufacturer. The seller did tell me some minor fitting maybe needed to the mount itself and did not require any fitting to the rifle.

No gunsmith scope mounts due in the mail today! I'm really curious as to how accurate she is, anyone put one of these Indian beauties on target paper at several 100 meters with a scope?

I have had her awhile A Square, just wanting to add a scope and dee what she will do at long ranges. And use hunting, along with a viable 7.62 NATO with easy access to surplus ammo.

I too have been considering the SK mount, but what has held me back was I did not want to modify the original stock.

I'm still looking for a scope mount for this isapore. There is a Canadian company that makes one that requires some light gunsmithing I may try it. I tried one of their bolt on version's on a No4 MkI it worked real well.

For a No1 type action? Wow, the only ones I've seen are those that use long eye relief "scout scopes" & attach to the original rear sight base. Scroll down to "scout style" |
