Ive been looking for one for quite a while myself.  Thought I had found one at the Birmingham, AL gun show a couple of weeks ago but the seller would not split up his bayonet and rifle.  I attended the TN Military Collectors Association show in Nashville this past weekend and this was on the second table I visited. The exhibitor said he had just acquired it in a collection he bought.  Bayonet is pretty close to new condition.  1946 Poole.  Not sure if the frog is the appropriate version and the blade has some hardened black paint-like substance in spots, possibly Suncorite from the sheath.  Anyone know what would dissolve that stuff with damaging the blade?

Most blades look like that, don't make the mistake of over purifying when restoring.

Yes, that's good advice. I didn't want to get too aggressive with it.
