Were they still using those flip sights in 1946? I thought they were war time only.
Like the Union Jack theme on the sling!

very nice - the cross of st andrew and st george are very well identified , i think we are missing st patrick but who am i to say ? we scotts have so little to say these days , particularly we american scotts ........

i am editing to say i really like it , i meant to say that in the original post but got sidetracked as usual with so many thoughts , very nice work

Very good. Pat on the back for whoever made it. But a note of caution, I'm not really convinced that it's original equipment for that rifle. It maybe comes off a Jungle Carbine I think.
