Buncha kids!
I'm pushing 65 from the high side.
I've had rubbish hearing since my ears got hammered by a pair of Provo bombs at close range back in 1974, the last time I had  a hearing test they thought the machine was broken its so bad.
Most other things work fair to middling, but my vision is getting poorer recently. I just like the middle fuzzy sight up with the middle fuzzy target &fire!
Don't shoot till you see the whites of their thighs. (Unofficial motto of the Royal Air Force)

Shooting prone has become uncomfortable for me, not because I'm approaching 60, it's because I have three vertebra in my neck screwed and fused together.  It's tough to get my head turned up far enough.  I'm looking out the top corner of my shooting glasses, and my cheek bone is resting right on my right thumb.

No issues in the standing position though.  It's surprising how much improvement is quickly made in that position once you connect your mind seeing the sight picture directly too the trigger finger.  And, of course, a good shooting coat makes a big difference (I thought at first it's really cheating, but everyone else uses them, so why not me?).   Last Friday, I shot 6 10's in a row on the SR target, the last one in the x in the standing position.  A really good shooter will clean the SR target standing, I've not been able to do that yet, but that's the goal.

well - this gettin old aint for sissys ,

i posted to another sight tonight about the reunion im not going to -
"yes - 50th , that's not a fun thought , i do remember my last day of high school sorta - it was the day before christmas break , i started college right after break and got my draft notice during break , i wont go back - 300 mile trip down and im not thinking there are any old friends going so i really dont need to see those that never left , i had lots of acquaintances but very few close friends , i actually knew almost every one of my 750+ class mates by name back then , but i also knew every title on the top ten play list and could tell you the artist and song in about three notes , so that's not really sayin much ,

my family no longer live there , my siblings migrated to surrounding communities and my folks are both dead , nothing drawing me back for the visit , i live here , i would rather go to my wifes if she was inclined , idmeet new folks even if they are 10 years younger , but she feels much the same ,
