That's a great suggestion, but the software this forum is based on is no longer supported by it's developer.  I created a web site over at http://www.ww2rifles.com and it has a gallery as well as blogging ability for members.

The new site software is upgradeable and is still supported by the developer. If everyone likes that software, we can always upgrade this forum to that software.  But, as always, that's up to the members to decide.  I only host it, this site is more or less a democracy.

thanks for the suggestion,
Eric

hoadie, have you got Vista???? Shocked

there is actually a removal tool on the web to uninstall vista and installs xp pro in one hit..man what a flop by microsoft..but im told by my wizz bang mate, its early days and needs to be developed more.
at the moment the word is..if ya serious about compukers and gaming...steer clear from vista for 10 years or so until they kill all the bugs

I have 3 licenses for Vista, and it's only installed on 1 computer.  That computer is a media center that acts like a TiVo for my TV.  Actually, it's sooo much better than a TiVo! I built it from scratch and it works great.
Here is a pic of it.

It has a card reader, can record up to 4 programs at a time, has HDMI connection, Dolby Digital Surround Sound, can connect external devices to it (camcorders, playstations, vcr's, etc.), I can also surf the web and do everything else a regular computer does.  It's actually pretty cool.

One more thing I forgot to mention, it has a LCD on the front that tells the time, as well as what it currently on the TV. Whatever program, DVD, CD, or picture is displayed on the TV, it shows on the LCD.

So, Vista is actually good for one thing... Media Center!  As a gaming platform... it SUCKS!!! It's a major resource hog that will leave you upset and aggravated.

Well, that's all I got to say about that... life is like a box of chocolates... shrimp kabob, shrimp creole, shrimp stew, shrimp preserves.......
