Canuck:
I see a broken link?

George isn't as accurate as my No4's. The SMLE barrel is lighter & whippier.
The No4 Mk2 is my most accurate rifle by far when I do it right.

I have 2 BSA No I MkIII*. Both 1916. One is a veteran, t'other is sported by PH. They be equal in accuracy. But - if I was to make a decision on which is best..I'd hard pressed, but I think the veterean would win.
Harvested a lot of game with the sport, the rifle has NEVER let me down.(Some ammo has.)
Methinks my Enfield collection is now complete.
There is a Longbranch enroute to me as we speak.(Haven't slept much waiting on it!! )
Have the J/C, 2 X 1916's, pattern '53 & now the longbranch...& they all have the proper "extra bits" .
Now that I have all I need, & don't wish any more - NOW all the stuff I wanted before will appear @ bargain basement prices, cuz I'm done. Watch, you'll see. It always happens this way ("where were ya when I needed ya"?)

I know the feeling.
For the longest time I had just 2 firearms, a .22RF & a .303. Now they're breeding & I had to buy a rifle rack to store em all!

I can't get any more rifles in my safe; so can't buy anymore unless I get a bigger safe; which would mean making room for the bigger safe; which would mean a bigger house; so I'll stick with what I have for the moment!
My latest and probably last is the French Resistance No4Mk1 Maltby.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!
