At the surface coal mine where I work, I do a lot of different things, set up light plants, haul dozers in & out of the field, pull & set pumps, etc. Got a call on the radio today from a haul truck driver that a cow with a broken leg was off the side of the haul road. Off I go with my 3# beater. 3 good whacks and she's history. Saw the boys after shift up there dividing it up. I've gotten more elk with a hammer in the 7 years I have worked there than I have in the last 20 during rifle season.Confused
