LOL!!!  Now that would be the time for me to have My Mother in Law or Father in Law around so they could translate !!!   They were teaching my Daughter French up until I moved up the Bayou !!!!So she only learned her numbers up to 20 I think ...
But they are coming over this week end so they can watch the Great Grandchildren while all of us do our concealed carry class !!!!! We got a private class scheduled here at my place !!

Rhino..as I told ya afore...French Canadian & Cajun French cannot compuike. Its like speaking german to a Ubangi! For that matter..France French & French Canadian & Cajun French are all in the same boat.(During the 2nd twirl at war, the France French could stumble thru it with French Canadian..but never did understand Cajun French)

I know Hoadie, there is a disconnect of time ... Cajun French has a lot of old french before the revolution , and also has Spanish, and native Indian and African influences ... along with all the other nationalities thats mixed in with the Louisiana people !!  Ya know its not just French here !! also you have the Slang thats been taken in and used as what some think is proper words, and then that goes by location !!!!
But there can still be some translation between the differences !!
