I will do my part to look into this. I have a 1917 Mk III* that is all matching and fits well (I don't shoot it for a reason) that I would be willing to put up for duplication. It even has the lightened butt stock. Shipping the wood is the part that scares me.

Richard said it wasn't feasible for because of the time involved but one of the new members that brought this back up posted links for another company that is said to do replication. That's what I was going to check into. Unfortunately I am betting the cost will be prohibitive.

i know wenig stocks in Lincoln mo has the equipment , more than one setup for multiple duplication [might be feasible for group buy] they do beautiful work and the people to run them but i agree it may well not be cost effective , they have blanks for a lot of old military rifles in their warehouse , ive seen them first hand , 

they custom fit to anything and do it in extra fine and exotic woods , but there must also be a line of production stocks based on what i saw in the pattern storage and the equipment they have ,
