There is an L42A1 with complete matching numbers chest and accessories on "Gunstar" site.
It's the highest price I've seen yet at 11,000 Pounds Sterling!!

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

Yeesh!

Too bad nobody is making new ones. There are new FG42s and somebody is supposed to be making new STG 44s, but I guess there's not enough percieved interest in these.

certainly makes the L39's look like a real bargain at about 1:10th of the price; considering it's basically the same rifle

I predict there's going to be a glut on these years from now as all the old codgers pass on & the wimpy, uninterested relatives sell off the huge collections without knowing the value of any of them.

They didn't make many of these. I expect one or two people will get lucky.
But there is also a strong possibility that some will be neutralised; as that seems to be the fashion at the moment. Although I've never really understood why anyone would want a firearm that doesn't work! It's a bit like parking a classic car in your garage with no engine. Nice to look at but not much use!

Sadly too rich for me too. I totally agree Zed, what is the point of a rifle, or any firearm if it's main reason for being, to shoot, is taken away. Seems to be much too much of it happening in the UK at the moment.
