Does anyone have a spare leather washer, the one that goes on the head of the butt stock bolt? Just wanted to check with you guys before I put together an order from other sources.

Thats not a bad idea Paddy. I have a set of gasket punches that would be great for making them.
What size and thickness should they be?
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

I could go to a second-hand store and get a belt for what one washer would cost, so that may be what I will do. Zed, I have one for another rifle laying about so I will get some od, id, and thickness measurements.

sounds a promising solution to an otherwise spendy problem , for that matter its most likely what the parts place has in stock anyway ,

Well I just looked at this post, and thats what I would do, I have arch punches that I make shotgun she!! shot cards and over shot cards with ... and I always have leather gloves and such laying around .. if not thick enough I know there is tack in the barn for the horses that has been laying there for quite a few years that wont be missed !!
