In search of a #4/Mk1 Longbranch fore end and top hand guards in dark walnut preferably. Used ok if in decent condition with no warping. I have the butt stock in new and used. Need this for a project I am working on that will be ALL Longbranch stamped. Thanks for your time reading my request.

The barreled action is actually a 1943 Longbranch #4/Mk1* in superb condition.5 groove barrel, #'s matching. It has the SURREY stamped barrel I mentioned in an older post of mine.I have all of the other accouterments to put a Longbranch together, just need the properly stamped LB fore end. I do have a couple LB butt stocks and 2 brand new upper hand guards in dark walnut to work with. I'd prefer new but being realistic I know that's likely not going to happen for a while so I would like used as previously mentioned, in dark walnut. eBay has been no help, my contacts in BC and the Yukon can't help either so it is going to be a long search. The thrill of the hunt!!

Its not hard to get it over the fence, Paddy.
If its just furniture - send it..@ N.D.V.(gift)
If its pieces/parts, ship it to Niagara Falls U.S. - I'll pick it up & forward it to Canuck

I envy that rifle, SW28fan! Paddy, it's easy to send wood and such to Canuck. Heck, he sent me a butt plate once. I am willing to help relay it too if you are uncertain. Done lots of shipping back and forth to Canada.

No issues for most parts between our countries. Barrels and actions, no sir. Strikers? Those could be classified as tent pegs.
