For one of my projects I am looking for a No 1 Mk III* butt stock with the inlay for the regimental disc. In order to help each other out I would prefer to trade. For trade fodder I have an NOS No 1 Mk III* butt stock without the inlay, normal length, walnut I think. It has never been on a rifle. The other option is a very nice No 4 Mk 1 front handguard made of beech, I think. I am not good on wood types. Here's the pictures:

Hi Bear. That top front hand guard is a darker shade of Beech wood. When you can see the small semi circular grain you have beech. Walnut is darker than Beech and more straight grained.
