That looks as close to the one I own that Iv seen so far but my lumber is terrible very unfinished. Ever seen one where the stocks look unfinished? That's nice but I'm in a selling mode not buying this year or even next.

Ah yes the cottage industry, sure shoots nice and has a great trigger and smooth action. When BSA came back on line it was for the #4 I think.

yes indeed - they made both/all three  , my no1 mkIII* bsa is a '42 dispersal , and i once owned a very nice bsa no4 mkI , they are the only brittish company to produce both , and the 'other' company [besides FAZ] to produce the no5 rifle as well , i once had an early bsa no5 too
