I wasn't sure which topic to pick here but today I scored a full box (20) of Norma 180 grain ammunition (boxer primed) in the factory packaging. Red writing on a woodgrain background. The cardboard box looks like it might have been made in the 1960's era, maybe older but maybe newer into the 1970's. A gold colored label states its' Olympic Match Grade ammo. It also has 'index 56" written on the box. The box exterior is a little dog eared like most vintage ammo boxes. Its' for my ammunition collection and was wondering if it is all that rare to find these days? A new acquaintance offered it to me for sale so I bought it for $30 Can. The picture provided was gleaned from a search engine request and is similar to the box I mentioned. Also, here is another internet photo of the brass case stamping with Re which I have found means 'reloadable'.

Canuck,
I used to buy 6.5 ammo in a box like that in the 80's but no idea when they started using that package. All Norma is great stuff though!

I buy all the Norma ammo I can find, brass too.

Look in junk ammo boxs for loose rounds too.

Great stuff.

Always looking for military manuals, Dodge M37 items, books on Berlin Germany, old atlases ( before 1946) , military maps of Scotland. English and Canadian gun parts.
