It is a Short, Magazine Lee Enfield Mk1
It was made by London Small Arms co in 1904

This model was the first Short Lee Enfield begining late in 1903 and continuing through a couple of upgrades until it was replaced by the Short, Magazine Lee Enfield MkIII in 1907.
From the markings in the pic, yours does not appear to have had any upgrades, so depending on how many of the original parts are on it, you could have a quite rare and desirable rifle.
Can you post some more pictures of the overall rifle and a couple of close ups of any markings you find?

dittos what he said - if its intact , its a keeper and very valuable , if all that is original is what we see - it still may be valuable to a collector/restorer , finding replacement parts will be a big job with really great rewards when complete
