Just got this home today. It's stamped F.M.P. on the left hand cover plate with the wooden hand grips. Great rifling and cylinders with zero pitting. Serial#8118. All #'s matching including the grips. A little rough in places on the grips. Once cleaned and lubed the lock up is tight and the trigger pull is light too, much lighter than my tanker model. Has the lanyard ring. (I tried to post another photo of the right side but something on the site is preventing me from doing so. I'll try another time.)

seems you did real well getting an early one , in very original nick , those grip scales are correct from beginning in 1927 to 1934 , so many have been altered over the years , this one appears not to have been , congrats

Thanks guys. I am trying to determine what the F.M.P. stampings mean? I know it doesn't show up in my feeble attempt at photos. I was asked by a friend if I would be restoring this pistol...I said no way. The original Suncorite or whatever paint is on there will stay for the sake of originality.
