How can I find out the history of my rfi jungle carbine?are there records available?

simple answer is NO , but if you give us the markings we can tell you some things of it , the MFGR and date and maybe a bit more depending on how its been marked oiver the years , lots of these saw service in the south east asia area and may be marked to the country/units etc , 

good close photos will help a lot

There were no real Ishapore carbines.
Many were fantasy rifles made by converting SMLE (No1 MkIII) to a pseudo-carbine.

yes , i thought i mentioned it , these were all originally made by either BSA or FAZ , RFI did refurb some , may have been scrubbed and remarked ?
