Well, in the past week I traded a Ruger for a Parker Hale Enfield, gave my Dad's Parker Hale and Cooey 22 to my nephew's, so by my count, I have room in the gun case!! I would really like to purchase another jungle carbine. Had on 15 years ago but needed cash, so did what every other idiot does, sells something only to want one later at 4x the price! Anyone out there have any leads in Canada? Thanks!

The best I can suggest is gun shows in your area?

We just had one. Ours is famous for, in my opinion, EXTREMELY over-priced! It's like the sellers want to keep all their stuff. I have no problem with that, but more often than not I see them loading up 99% of what they brought at the end of the show. I think I have a pretty good idea what an Enfield should be worth... then add 40%!!

Same here where I live. I'll keep an eye out for you and message you when I see a decent example. Tim

Have you tried a reduced price negotiation with them? Many will d**ker eventually.

I have. For many years. I don't insult with a ridiculous offer, but more often than not they aren't willing to budge. It's been that way for at least 35 years. You can get good deals on custom knives, but firearms? Not likely. Again, it's their stuff so they can do what the want.

Probably not,the Jungle Carbine you're looking for.
I added the Boyd's laminated stock, the Parker Hale scope mount, and the muzzle brake.

the santa fe rifles are a catagory all on their own , very nicely done cmmmercial sporting arms , ive not owned nor handled one , but in some circles its said every collection of enfields should include one - im too old to start collecting , i accumulate sparingly ,

I love how light this one is. My No4 T with a fully loaded magazine and sling added weighs in at 12.8 lbs.
This guy with everything in the picture including a sling and five rounds in the mag, weighs in at just under six in a half pounds.

I have a lead on a Jungle Carbine in Winnipeg. My nephew is chasing it down. Dude says he has two. Just brought home a No4 Mk1 Parker Hale standard sporter. Traded it for A Ruger No 1, as I mentioned earlier. Good trip! North with 50km, Trans Canada was in whiteout conditions 1/2 the trip there and back. Got my wife's Mazda B4000 sideways going 80 km... Ended by coasting back home on fumes. Gun looks great!

Got the above mentioned Jungle Carbine!! Have only pictures, but nephew, who collects military rifles says it's sweet... except it's been drilled and tapped for a scope. Not a huge deal breaker for me, and I believe it made an $800ish dollar weapon a $600 one. That's it, I gotta stop buying! Gun case is full! (Or maybe buy a bigger gun case...)
