I need to add to my length of pull and the easiest way is with a recoil pad. Anyone have any idea what pads will fit a Parker Hale No. 4 Deluxe?

Universal large recoil pad.
You're going to have to fit it to the stock with alot of sanding. They also have slip on pads that slide over the back of the stock. I tried Numrich, they have PH recoil pads but they're the small ones. |

Measure & get the next size up, cover the butt with duck tape & have at it.

I've installed quite a few recoil pads. Not quite as easy as people think. Even the "made to fit" need some tweaking. With an Enfield, because the rear stock is secured with a long bolt, this adds to the work. I've had good success with removing the rear stock from the rifle, purchasing a generic large Pachmyar. You then need to drill out the old butt plate holes and fill with an appropriate sized wood dowel and wood glue. Then, you need to run the butt through a table saw, ensuring all is square. Use lots of masking tape and scribe the stock before cutting. Now you have a square platform to install the recoil pad. The pads have two holes in the hard plastic that will be against the stock. Push a screw from the hard plastic side to the soft side. Cut a slot where the screw pushes through. Once done, push a screw into the recoil pas (use lots of Vaseline).when you think the screw I'd at 90 degrees, tap the screw with a hammer to mark where the holes will be drilled. Drill holes. You can now install the recoil pad. Once tight, mask the wood good and begin sanding, following the contours of the stock. For this, I use a belt sander. I allows leave the pad a bit proud and finish by hand. Remember. Once installed, to remove the stock via the stock bolt, you would have to remove the pad. I suspect you already know this, but thought it might help members that haven't installed one. Thank you.
