I joined to find more info on this great rifle.  Its next on my list for my collection of "cool surplus bolt action shooters that are not so expensive you cant look at them directly, but they are also decent rifles that wont fall to pieces if you cycle the bolt!"Big smile

I like shootin' em.  I have two Mosin Nagants, one a 1945 m44 and the other a cool 1921 hex reciever M91.  Also own a sported out spanish mauser.  Now I need a nice Enfield rifle, and a Springfield.  But I want to get the Enfield more than anything.  Its my favorite rifle of WW2.

I also have a few modern rifles and have a weak heart for a 1911 also.

Anyway, it looks like I found a good place to continue my search.

Thanks for taking me aboard!
Mark

welcome , and yes , i agree with the sentments regardin the enfield and can agree with the speringfields as i once owned a full compliment of those .

as to the 1911s i cannot disagree as i own a 1918 , a1943 and a couple modern versions of these ,  as nice as they are the US revolvers is also an area worthy of research , understanding, and collection - still have these as well ,

so much to discuss either in the regular forums or the OT forum , join right in please

Methinks Buffalo Air sold off that "North" Catalina.
(Back during the '39 - '45 festivities, the Commonwealth reffered to them as "Cansos" IIRC)
