Ok: As previously mentioned, I have acquired some "abused" Enfields.
I say "abused", because they were "de-activated" by putting a weld in the muzzle.
Otherwise, they are beauties!

Now, going by my memory, there was 3 of these babies..but when it came time to hand-over there was only 2.

I could have sworn from last time I saw them, that they were #4 L.B.s..they aren't - they are both 1917 Sht L.E. with Pattern 1907 bayos & scabbards.

So Serial # 32166 & G4224 will have the barrels scrapped (eventually).

Anyone needing parts will be able to buy them from me- as long as the supply holds out. Remember-it will be for members of tyhis forum only.I am not going to post the info on any other forum.

..and whilst we will enjoy relatively inexpensive parts - please remember that buyers should make some kind of monetary donation to Eric for help with the site.

I suspect the woodsets will go first.

The wood, the whole wood, and nothing but the wood?
I forgot to mention - they have a plug where the brass I.D. plate should be. (Does that make a difference?)

I'll send you some pics first..then you can decide.

Hoadie,

I have a barreled action if you wanted to fix one of these   Two actually when I think about it!

Don't scrap the barrels if they 'just ' have weld on the muzzle end.  (If bores are good otherwise)

I thought these were "DP marked"? not just blocked, proceed with caution.

No - they are not DP marked. (Dunno where that notion came from)
But, with a bit of a weld in the muzzle & breech - I don't think the barrels are salvageable

Pm me, id love a wood set. Or even a complete rifle. But at the very least i could REALLY use a fore end. Name your price and id send eric some too. Id take the worst conditioned wood. Because for me i like the old and used looking wood the most. And cracks and dents look good in my eyes.

I also stil have a 5 round mag for you too.
