I do have a project, but it's got two wheels!
1973 Z1 Kawasaki. It's got too many miles and too far gone to be perfect, I was hoping to make it presentable; with maybe some Akront rims in a more modern tyre size etc.

The guys from work did a cracking job on the paint. as can be seen in the reflection in the tank. Colour is a 2013 Aston Martin metallic blue. Got to get on with the rest of it some day! When the house is finished (oh yeah, that's another project)Wacko
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

At the moment I have 3 #4 projects to complete including a #4/MK2 with pristine barrel rifling (Surrey) stamped barrel. One Cooey .22 needing stock refinishing and two LE sporter scope mounting jobs. Waiting for this winter to complete as it's supposed to be another wickedly cold and snowy winter according to the Farmer's Almanac and I will be in the shop a lot consequently.

im sitting on a gun box for my US handguns and their holsters etc , i have the box - it was not so nice as i thought when i bought so im working out the fix and presentation , this is high on my list of TTD at this time ,

i have a gun cabinet for my 22 long guns in mid-build , im hoping for some time to refine the details and fit it up , i have all the materials - hope its not so cold as to prevent some cutting in the garage as that needs to be done yet ,

i have a dozen or more 22s that need some TLC as well as a trip to the range - perhaps when i get that cabinet done and next summer ????  i have a lot that ive never shot - maybe a retirement goal ??

ive just begun thinking on the 22 handgun cabinet - thats a project for next year i think ,  am still working on presentation thoughts at this point , i like them as compact as possible but fully accessible and i fear i need expansion .........?? i just keep finding them ,

im still working on arranging the final bits of my enfield/webley long and handgun closet at this point in time , i get a bit OCD when it comes to actually filling the space , i only want to do it once and for those that have seen my old office cabinets you understand im already going on twice ,

So good, Hoadie I forgot to mention my Pattern 1914 project. Zed, nice bike! My vehicle project currently in progress is a 1963 Chevy 3/4 ton long box stepside 2 wheel drive with a 292 straight 6, granny low 4 speed and 4.56 rear gears. Lived all its life in South Dakota and I have the paperwork to prove it.

Thank you for your kind offer. I have talked to Brian d**k a few times about swapping barrels as he had the correct tools so the receiver doesn't get bent up( they do that) and access to breaching washers if needed but he has never gotten back to me with a price and shipping instructions. I have a sweet #4 MkII barreled receiver complete and almost new but some artisan had lopped off 3 inches with bayonet lugs to sport it up.  Wink The stock set is a new 1957 still in the paper, the barrel is as new as  is the Sterling magazine ( have you seen the prices on these magazine recently?) and I have several new L42 extractors and a wide selection of new and almost new bolt heads if needed because I have another #4T project in the wings. Clap Most of the other hardware is new via Dr. Roger Payne in the last days of the 1900's and early 2000's when I was still traveling.

Thanks for all the interest and comments. Everyone seems to have a lot of irons in the fire even if it's just a low flame. LOL

My daily driver is a 78 Chevy K30, we can haul those 22's easily and I have ammo to share including shorts to try out. Hmmmmm...

Just one. I seem to be very linear in my approach. Finish one, start another.
My 1914 BSA ShtLE III.

I'm waiting on a few bits from N.Z.

I couldn't agree more.
To me the main point in getting another rifle (or pistol) is to get it to how I want it. After that I look for another one.
