I just restored another one.

One of these is original, the other two are reworks.

From bottom to top;
1895 Mk.I Lee Metford cavalry carbine complete with saddle ring.
1895 Mk.I Lee Metford cavalry carbine with 1897 factory rework of removing the D-ring
1899 Mk.I Lee Enfield cavalry carbine

.
.
Look to your front, mark your target when it comes!

So, which one is the original? I have looked and looked and haven't a clue. They are all so nice.

I would guess the middle one is the original.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!
