The first time I visited Manassass I was suprised by the scale. It's not a large area, the troops were looking right at each other. Hard to believe the courage it took to walk into the lines of cannon when the order came.

Yep-MOST of it. I gave away my canvas(never used it anyway after 1st Manassass) Gave away the fire irons(never used them, either)
Still got 3 uniforms, my leathers, gaiters, 2 pairs boots, canteen, lantern, ENFIELD MUSKET, box pack, overcoat, other odds & sods.
Ex wife still has all her period clothing-most NEVER used!(She'd like to get rid of it)

(Uniforms are a little tight now-think they shrunk)

wtf is a photobucket? I have a 2 man MUCKET(civil war tin ware)
I have a vey good digital camera.(Great stuff comes out of it-mostly by accident) cuz I dunno what the hay I'm doin!!
But I'd luv to learn how!
As luck wud have it, my buddy Doug was here today(drinkin my beer)& he took the stock away to re-finish it.
Since I'm not re-enacting any more it seems fitting to professionaly re-do it.(She took a poundin over the 30 or so years I was in the hobby).
So-if someone gives me step by step (remedial) instructions, I'm willing to try.Doug says the stock will be done by next week.
