Where, on a 1907 bayonet should the serial # be? I just got one from an Ebay auction and where I thought it should be, it isn't. It should be opposite side of the model #, right?

Well I just checked the couple I have and there is not a serial number on any of them

P-07 bayonets rarely have a serial number. Usually show up on OZ
bayonets when they do. Have seen them on both the crossguard and on
the hilt but, again, only rarely.
