Sure will Allen, Taking my daughter this weekend it is youth day. Only children can hunt but must be accompanied by an adult. She will either shoot a .44 Magnum Rugar Carbine or a 20ga. with buchshot or a slug. depending on where I take her and hunting conditions. Plus may take both daughters.

Thanks dave,
Ate the tenderloin tonight for supper. Dave was a short shot 75 meters or so. Was a dream taking that short rifle in the woods. Did not get in the way at all

Hoadie (wait...you shot the carbine to get his attention, then threw a grenade...OHHH, THAT explains it!) Congrats, bud! |

All the #5s I've owned over the years had the Butt plate changed straight away to get rid of that Damned rubber pad ! (designed by the Marquis De sade !) I always found them to have ,hunting accuracy ! I never went out of my way to own them out of preferance though ! On saying that I know blokes who wont shoot anything else

Congrats. CM, on the Buck, I havent seen a buck yet. but Mark did the first 4 that me and mark seen together left so fast that all we seen was the tail white flash going up and down away from us accross the canal, and then further back on the prop. Mark seen a buck it was on the other side of the canal also. when Adam gets back we are going to take care of that other side, thats his famalys land. so one of us will get lucky.

CM, I think Boogie is going for a Buck now he had his Mom take him to wally world to get a set of buck rattles, never thought much of them my self. if i would of known what they were made of i would of made a set for him myself. But he wants to try and rattle a buck in so well see if he has any luck. he is going back out to hunt this afternoon, Megan and i went this morning, I let her get on stand before i went Hopeing that i would run one to her, i didnt see nothing, went to my stand in the back of the prop. stayed there awhile and then crepted back along the north side seeing if i could come up on one beded down out this wind we have today. Nothing i didnt even jump one or anything. well i guess i will try again tomorrrow morning.

Well CM,I can hear Boogie from the back porch Rattling that Buck rattle. Man he is trying hard, just hope he is not trying to hard. I gave him some Buck Urine that i saved from my Buck last year/season.
well he just walked in and said he didnt see anything, Redneck is still out their.wait Redneck just came in and he said he seen one a Doe he thinks on the other side of the canal by the old wood stand(Cottonmouth will know where im talking about) thats on his famalies land and thats his old stand. I might have to set up on this side of the canal and wait for that buck to cross. or just keep using the back stand and wait. i got lucky last year on it and got a doe, i shot a Buck out the tripod last day of the season last season.

Well another day and no deer, not one. stayed out till 12:00 got down and went scout some more. Hey Cotton Mouth we need to get together for a hunt scouted out on my side of Himalaya canal, accross from your old stand.... Man we need to hit that place together there is a lot of sighn, tracks every where. and thats where Mark and Redneck seen deer on your side we could take the Pirouge and I can drop you off then go to the other side. By the way My stand in the back is about 200 yrds from yours to the north accrose the canal. doesnt matter where you and i get we need some one in between us. the cover is still thick. I only have about a 100 to 200 yrd shot to my north and east of my stand very broken and maybe a 75 to 100 yrd shot to my south Heavaly coverd with small trees getting thicker towards the Canal. to my west well that means i have to shoot hanging out the stand around the tree ... maybe a 150 yrd shot in that direction if i have an opening between the trees.
The "White Rhino"
Well i know i can make that west shot did it last year on the run! 120yrds. Quartering shot from the rear!
