I found a site out of the UK that has the insert kits.

Scroll down to stock number A88.

They are scarce & hard to find, so its expensive.

I’m sure they are but that’s way past my price point. Maybe I’ll just keep hand feeding it.😎

Ok, I came across a few 303 “ chargers “ ( I’m learning) and they won’t fit the charger bridge slot at all and, too big,.
Then I tried a 7.62x39 SKS stripper clip, again to big for my slot.
What’s next?

Maybe the bridge is already set up for 7.62?
I just grabbed a .303 charger & a 7.62 stripper clip & compared them, the 7.62 is about 1/16" wider at the sides?

I believe you are right. I need to be looking for 7.62x51 chargers.
Do you agree?

Probably! You can check for either 30-06 (Thuddy ought-six) or 7.62 NATO, (they are the same)

Are stripper clips for 308 the same as 7.62 NATO and 30-06?

If your Ishapore is a 2A, it will have been built with the charger bridge set up for the NATO chargers.

Mine is in fact a 2A.
Are you referring to NATO charger or stripper clips?
