Warm, no wind... headed to the range with my Cooey 82 with the Lee Enfield installed Mk2 site and my No5. I finally got under 1" @ 25 yards with the .22 with a 10 shot group! I wanted to use the smaller apature on the No.5 so it took me a few shots to dial it in @ 100 yards. I then did a 7 shot volley. 4.23"... not bad! I was shooting 180 gr Hornady RN. I forgot how much that little bugger kicks!

I love carrying that little carbine around in the bush after I've filled my tag in black powder or rifle (I use my scoped No4 Sporter as main main hunting rifle). We hunt in a group of three and don't care who shoots the meat so quite often near the end of the season we have an open tag. I've never hunted with the 180 RN but I'm guessing it'll be bad medicine for a venison that happens to get in the way.
