The way congress is today, please gather up your fellow Canadians and burn the Capital and the White house again! As far as Detroit goes, they need all the help they can get. Maybe you maple leaf types can make a better job of it.Hug
Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their planet!!

Personally, I'd like to dig a big canal around Toronto & let it drift across the lake to New York state.(Then our biggest problems here would be over! )
When Rhino &Lisa were here, he sat on the battlefield @ Queenston Hieghts, & drank Canada Dry!!(Well, he tried, anyway ). We took in Ft.George (the one they named after me), but its a shame we didn't go stateside to tour Ft.Niagara.Oh well - maybe next time.

i think taking canada in 1812 would only have resulted in us dealing with those pesky french speakes in quebec - not something i think we might enjoy - after all they think they are independent and free to do as they please .............imagine that

Well, a lot of 'em ended up in Louisiana after the battle on the Plains of Abraham. France wouldn't take the Acadians back...so they went south to LA & you ended up with "CAJUNS". Fancy that..
