I don't have any more bayonets coming on the way this week (bayonets were last weeks big thing). However, when I ordered a sling for my No.1 Mk.III from Bayonet Inc. last night, I also ordered a 1937-Bayonet Frog for the No.4 Spike Bayonet. From what I could tell by the photo this frog is either Indian or Canadian made. But hopefully soon I will have another bayonet on the way. Looking forward to hearing about what you are getting.

I was thinking of doing that? make offer? However looks cool with all those British rifles. It is all intact leather webbing and strapes. very cool looking lid.

Hoadie I have two one has a rough edge around the brim, the other has a piece of metal around the rim to protect it. Can you tell me about that one as well. I will get pics to you.

after the 1st hostilities they improved the helmet with a finished edge.(I THINK that was designated Mk II).By mid 2nd war (after Dunkirque) I believe the Mk III was made.I could be off alittle on the timing, here. What it boils down to is they wanted to make 'em cheaper & faster.

looking for photos , sounds like you did real well , if you have trouble IDing the other two bayos i think oldsmithys site offers an excelent referance source - but i know he has issues with band width due to downloading [some folks screw it up for everyone else]
