I am just guessing that they are gone already because they are no longer listed. If they are indeed gone then wow! 70 Lee Enfields sold in less than 24 hours.
Please someone tell me that you bought  one or more.
And then post the picturesBig%20smile

Mine came in yesterday.  I'd love some help identifying all the marks on it.  I know it's a 1943 Maltby, but other than that I'm clueless.

That is not a bad looking rifle at all. It should clean up nicely. What condition is the bore in?

What's the best way to "clean" it?  It doesn't have much Cosmo, there is some kind of green wax embedded in grooves/dents of the wood on one side of the rifle.

Way to go! Looks like a great rifle.
As far as cleaning it goes I suggest you send it to me and I wil clean it and of course give it a lenghty testing which could take month. But I believe in doing a complete jobLOL.
Nice rifle.

Do a search....there are about 1000 different ways....its a personal thing. Whatever you choose, try to be the least aggressive you can. Finish her up with some BLO (do a search!) and you will be amazed how much better they can look. One of my favourite restorations came to me almost black in colour. Looked like it had been stored in motor oil. Soak in a keg full of hot oxy clean..lots of work...one of my nicest lookers...incidentally, she is a Maltby.

I uses dentist picks (plastic), usualy all you have to do is get the gunk out and its just fine. My 1943 maltby has a pretty neat bore and a decent stock as well. Kinda look similar.
