What does the Current Canadian Army hat (field /fatigue) look like?

I wear an old US Army cap when I go shooting and my hat is my gone by the wayside.

I was thinking about changing out to a Canadian Army hat. When shooting a Enfield one should have style.

I am looking for a 7-3/8 to a 7-1/2 US (59 -60 CM). Where can I obtain a Canadian Army cap, used is fine?

Still looking.

A CADPAT  bush hat would be cool.

Does any one have a extra one or know of a source?

Thanks,

Ed

ALF, awful loud fart. I think there  was a TV show about that. That brown furry thing looked like it came out with a beer fart.

You should try Roy's Army Surplus, he should have what you are looking for. Ebay should have it as well.

Thanks Canuck, I will give them (Roy's Army Surplus) a try.

All the CADPAT Canadian I see on ebay are made in China. I am hoping to get a Canadian made one.

Thanks again,

Ed

What about the 'Parktown' hat, like the one Red Green wears on his TV show. I have one of those and I use it hunting all the time. It has ear flaps that tuck into the hat when not needed, it is treated with Quarpel so is waterproof, it has ventilation holes and is warm and wind proof as well and has a duckbill to keep the rain and snow away from your eyes/glasses. I swear by these hats! I think they are made in Canada but aren't the current military issued hats. Mine was made in Sept.1989 and is 50% Nylon and 50% Cotton with a 100% Cotton lining. It can be worn either as a bucket hat or with the sides flipped up to expose your ears. I hope this helps, Ed?

Heck, I found my hat that fits my melon head sized 7 5/8" and I believe they get even bigger. You shouldn't have a problem finding one for your size and I got mine from that link I told you about, at Roy's army surplus a few years ago.
