Here is a photo of my Dad taken in 1944 before heading to the Pacific.
The other photo is Dad and me on Memorial Day 2003 or 2004.

Here is my Dad's squadron insignia. VT-43 flying off the USS Monterey (CVL-26). And yes my Dad is still very much alive.
