gentlemen the Greeks used 303s in the defense of their country and fought along side the ANZAC troops in Greece and Crete . Many of them where captured before escaping Crete to North Africa .my uncles father was in the navy on Hmas PERTH  for the evacuation of Crete and was eventually killed in the battle of Sunda strait in the battle of Singapore along side the uss Houston.

I believe they also used them during the Greek Civil War.
"The Greek Civil War (Greek: ο Eμφύλιος [Πόλεμος], o Emfýlios [Pólemos], "the Civil War") was a civil war in Greece fought between the Greek government army (supported by the United Kingdom and the United States) and the Democratic Army of Greece (DSE) — the military branch of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) (supported by Yugoslavia, Albania and Bulgaria) from 1946 to 1949. The Soviet Union avoided sending aid. The fighting resulted in the defeat of the DSE by the he!!enic Army.[13]"

yes , both are true , and freedom fighters they were ,

unlike much who claim that tittle but are trying to enslave their countrymen to communism-socialism-marxism-naziism , its all the socialist regime that claims to be for the little guy but then subjects them to peasant status once they take control , its happens so often in history - why on earth would anyone wish for that unless they had dreams of being the "special class" ? and that aint happening for common folk with daily needs and hopes for a better future ,

particularly the alphabet and gender confused - they will be killed , or maybe incarcerated to a work camp , just study history to know how it works - ask the russians about 1917 , ask the germans about 1936 , ask the cambodians , ask the viet namese , ask the chinese , ask the koreans - north folks , ask the venezuelans and cubans , ask any thinking man or woman what they think they want ,

OR - you know what , ask us after the next revolution no matter how it turns out ........wait till the shooting stops tho , just sayin ,

Im in the exact same boat i have a savage no4 with the triangle on the receiver and cannot find a single thing about it. It honestly looks like a carving more than a stamp. Im glad im not the only one with this issue

From what I`ve seen, a lot of the Greek rifles have an elongated Triangle stamp that appear to have been done with a chisel used as the stamp, one line at a time.
But usually have a bunch of characters stamped under it as well.
