J&G is only an hour drive from my place. I am giving it serious thought to go up there tomorrow and see what they look like...

"There are a few easy give aways to check on a rifle claiming to be Resistance. It will only have the military marking's; no sold out of service or British Proof house stamp's! 
These were packed and dropped from military stored, so if you see a civilian proof,( unless recently proofed) or sold out of service,or FTR, it cannot be a resistance rifle!"

I love the story, but as always its what you see is what you get, so going down to look and choose is very wise.
